I met happiness in many diverse ways through out the day. Happiness twinkled in the eyes of a teenager, as she sat choosing the breed of the pet puppy she so wanted to adopt. Her father had finally given a go ahead after 5 years of saying “No”.
Stepping into a beautiful wellness space, I met a woman who in flat 15 minutes of healing therapy, had the courage to let go of the burden of responsibility she carried on her shoulders for 44 years & replace it with happiness in every cell of her body.
Came across a man who had lost all that he ever loved and yet had made a decision to stay happy every moment of his life. His status screamed, “I love my life, I am very happy”
A beautiful young social activist was found chuckling remembering the antics of her deceased dog, who was her best friend. Happiness peeked through reminiscing old memories.
An elderly couple bragged proudly of their daughter’s achievement as their own life time achievement award. In every narration of achievement was happiness, flowing as tiny droplets of tears.
All in all, it is true when you are happy you only see & meet happy around you. I updated my status too. “Happiness is a decision to maintain a state of mind. At times by holding on & at times by letting go.”
