It is not always the result that determines our ability to go forth and assist all those who we can and release their pain. It is our selfless intent and initiative to reach out, which gives hope to this world.
This was during the time I was working in the corporate segment. I remember the day that I came home after a tiring day, put up my feet and laid on the couch with my eyes closed. Hardly a few minutes had gone by and I felt a touch of cold water on my feet and I opened my eyes.
I was surprised to see my little daughter, who was at the time about 5-6 years old sitting at my feet and wiping the soles with damp paper tissues.
I smiled and asked her what she was doing. She replied innocently that she was trying to wash my pain away.
The profoundness in her intent to help and her ability to transpire it into action touched me. There was no fear of judgment in her nor was she focused on the result she could give me. All she knew was she wanted to help, and she just went ahead and did what she thought would be of help.
I highly recommend that we all must try this therapy! Though it is a SOLE WASH, for me it was truly a SOUL WASH!
